Indian Goverment Launched GeM Goverment E-Marketplace (GeM), where every Cities and Urban or anyone Worked is developed according to that business.

Given this scenario the present infrastructure and amenties in cities and towns are not adequate address the expending urbanization process.
According to this situations several intenveties wew launched by goverment to pamote urban infrastructure in the country. major intiative is the twin effort on smart City and the Atal Mission of Rejuvention and Urban Transfarmation (AMRAUT) project scheme.

The Smart cities Mission :-
The smart city mission is the major urban renewal program launched by the Goverment to develop and upgrad living candition and infrastructure to Urban program Selected to 100 cities all over the india.
Objective of the program is to moderenize by providing core infrastructure and give a decent quality of lufe to a citizens. a clean and suitablie envoirment and Application of smart salutions.
The program was officially launched by 14th, June, 2021 and is the first phase 20 cities is the funding for converting them into smart cities. in the next two year the remaining cities to be also participate in the project.

Ministry of urban Urban development is the achoring agencies for the implimentation for the projects. the main focuse of the project is the area base development of cities by the transforming exciting are through retrofiting redevelopments.
Another Component of smart cities project is the development for the new area of greenfield areas. similarly adoption of smart saluation with the use techanology information and data are expected to improve the infrastructure and the services under the projects.

Finensing of Smart City Mission :-
financing of the mission will be collabratively done by the center state and local bodies. Fund from the private sector will be invited and public private partnerships will support the project finencially.
the most vital Contribution will be provided by the center as it will be provides Rs.5,58,000 Carors Over five years. i.e. an average Rs. 120 Carore per City per year. matching the center's contribution, an equal amount will be made by the state/ULBs.
Altogether nearly One lakh Carore Rupees from Goverment Source will be available from Smart Cities project. For the implementation for the projects each city should from the dedicated the Special Perpose Vehicel (SPV).

Atal Mission for Reventation and Uarban Transfarmation (AMRAUT) Projects :-
Atal Mission for Reventation and Uarban Transfarmation(AMRAUT) Project Scheme along with smart cities where jointly planned and launched by the Goverment to transform Uarban living conditions through infrastructure upgradetions.
AMRAUT is aimed at transforming 500 cities and town into efficient Uarban living spaces over a period of five years. Ministry of Uarbon Developments has selected the five hundred cities with the help of state goverment.
A project Oriaented development Approach is Adepted under the Scheme in cantrast to the area based the Approach of Smart cities Mission. The cabinet mission Approved of Rs 50,000 Carors for this mission which is to be spent over a period five years.

Mission of AMRAUT is too.
(i) Ensure that every household has access to the tap with assured supply of water and a severage connection.
(ii) Increase the Aminity Value of value of cities by developing greenry and well maintened open space (e.g. Park, walking field etc),
(iii) Reduce polluation by switching the public transport or constructing facilities for non-motrised transpoart. (e.g. walking and cycling).

Pradhan Mantry Awas Yojana (Uarban) or Housing for All by 2022 Mission.
The housing for All the by 2022, Under the scheme of - Pradhan Mantri Awas Youjna, Housing for All (Uarban), Lunched by the General Goverments aim to provide housing to all uarban people by 2022. It provied Central Assistane State of UTs for constructing house to all Eligible Section by concsrtrating on Uarban slum and Economically weaker Sections.
Hense, Slum Rehabilition and offerable housing to Economically weaker section are the major features of the projects.

Heritage city Development and Agumentation Yojana (HRIDAY) :-
The HRIDAY scheme is lunched for the holistic development of heritagre cities. it aims to preserve and revitlize the unique charecter of heritage cities in india, for the first stage of the programm Rs.500 Carore is allowted with full funding by the Central goverment. Twelve cities including Ajmer, Allahabad (Prayagraj), Amrawati, Amritsir etc are identified for the projects.

Jawaharlal Neharu National Urban Renual Mission (JNNURM) :-
JNNURM was launched in 2005, as the flagship scheme for uraban development. the programm has two components, Viz Besic Services for Urban Poor (BSUP), and Indgrated Housing and Slum Development programm (IHSDP).
Civil Aminities were improved under the programm including Uraban transportation. the programm aimed at intregated Development of slum through project providing shelter, besic services and other related services.

Uraban Transpotation :-
several invetatives were taken to inhance public transport system including the Bus Rapid Transist System (BRTS), Approved for 11 cities under Jawaharlal Neharu National Urban Renuwal Mission (JNNURM).
The transportation system will be equpied with with Intellegent Transport System (ITS) and Matro Rail Projects.

Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) :-
A Major Associated Uraban development programm is making india 's Uraban Center Clean. for this the (SBM) targets to achived the 100% Scientific managments of munsipal solid wast in 4041 statuary town/cities in Country by 2019.
Besides the above inciatives, several Associated Development programms like industrial Corridors, NHDP, Jawaharlal Neharu National Urban Renuwal Mission, National Uraban Livelihood Mission etc. want to try the best aimed to add infrastructure and other aminities to the uraban areas.
